• Speech-to-Text Processing: When you use the speech-to-text feature, your audio is temporarily processed to generate a text transcription.
• No Logging or Storage: We do not store the audio or the resulting transcription on our servers. Once processing is complete, all data remains on your device or synced to your chosen cloud storage.
• Notes and Threads: Your text-based notes and threads are stored locally on your device or in your chosen cloud storage (e.g., iCloud).

2. How We Use Your Data

We only process your data to provide the app’s functionality, including:

• Converting speech to text in real time.
• Allowing you to create, organize, and edit notes and threads.

We do not use your data for analytics, marketing, or any other purpose.

3. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• Local Storage: Your notes and threads are stored locally on your device unless you choose to enable cloud syncing.
• Protected Threads: Sensitive threads can be secured with a passcode or biometric authentication (e.g., FaceID).
• Third-Party Processing: Speech-to-text processing is handled by trusted third-party providers. Neither the audio nor the transcription is logged or stored by these providers.

4. Your Rights

As a DoThreads user, you have full control over your data:

• You can create, edit, and delete your notes or threads at any time.
• If you use cloud syncing, you can manage your data through your cloud storage provider’s settings.

5. Children’s Privacy

DoThreads is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly process data from children.
